SHE WEARS HER HIGH HEELS, WALKS LIKE SNAILS x(

I had such a LONGGGGG day today! Not long as in tiring and scheduled packed, but it definitely felt that way mentally. 

Had an interview after class this afternoon, and i didn't exactly know where to get off. So when i got off at the bus stop, i saw that the place i was suppsed to go is like.... at least 400m away? And my feet hurt so much, and i wasn't prepared to walk in that BLAZING SUN, so i took a cab there which was like 5mins away.

After the interview itself, which took like max. 30 mins, that's when  my ordeal began. 

I boarded bus 31, and saw there's 66 at a couple of bus stops later. So i decided to take that since it goes right to my place. Then i alighted and waited for 66, which took like at least 15mins to arrive. So nvm, i happily boarded the bus to save the hassle of changing bus again. 

After half an hour (or possibly more) of travelling, I realised that i was at Bukit Timah.... and i kept asking myself, "Bendemeer first then BT right... so how come i seem to be going backwards?" And BT seems NEVER ENDING.... travel here and there and still at BT! Dammit! So it hit me that i've MOST PROBABLY TAKEN FROM THE WRONG DIRECTION. Ok, never mind, just alight and board from the other direction.... but there was no opposite direction!!! There was no overhead bridge, just probably big canals which i possbile can't JUMP across. 

So i alighted when i finally saw a uber long overhead bridge... I was at some JC, don't kno which JC near Dunearn Road... Couldn't be bothered to see anymore (remember, my feet HURT like crap) URGHHH... so i finally got to the right stop to take 67/66 home. Which took like another 45mins. 

I was really upset with myself! It's like a complete waste of time due to my own stupidity and the lack of awareness. Grrr... :( Maybe it's a sign that i shouldn't intern there! Look at all those long routes that i've to take! Glad that it's over & that i finally got home, and that i could FINALLY remove my heels. (It's so weird, i could club in that pair of heels which i deemed as my most comfy ones, but yet i suffered so much today) 

So all in all, i took about 2 hours to go back home, when it should have been what, 45mins max?

At least the day's gonna be over & a brand new day awaits. So look at the brightside, Miss Brightside! I'm keeping my fingers crossed about the other internship which i REALLY hope to get (but no news as of yet, urghhh!!!) :)
