the Interview

GREETINGS!

I (the Queen, in case you've forgotten) had an interview with SMU today! Blimey!

In case you're wondering how that feels like... I felt like i was about to take my Chinese oral (exam).... which i took like almost 2 years ago. I mean, when was the last time that you had to talk, bull, and try to impress all at the same time?!! (excludes trying to impress that guy/gal).

But i hope it won't turn out as lousy as my AO level chinese oral exam!

It went on quite well.... the two interviewers were pretty friendly, but i still felt a bit nervous actually. hee. UNTIL we talked about politics. about PAP. about the opposition. politics (errr, ok...) PAP (well, i was trying to recall ALL that i've ever watched on CNA or headlines that i've read before) and the opposition?! i only know, or rather, remember, Labour Front! haha!!!

and they were VERY surprised when first i told them i wanna major in political science. according to them, most of the students are boys and i went "REALLY?" haha. (and that's why i wanna take the course. *grins devilishly*)

But still, i hope i redeemed myself by saying that "... that's why i hope to take up this course and understand more about the political arena... instead of having inadequate information....... and to have a better perspective of such content."

The interviwers told me i have a "high chance" of going to SMU. (perhaps impressed by my bull-shitting skills. cos IF i were the interviwer, i would just laugh my ass off at someone who doesn't even know what the flik-flak that she's going on about!)

HAH.... all in all, it was fun. it went ok (in my very own personal opinion, or standard) but i'm still very embarrassed, really. BUT i've tried my best! given it my best shot already! and i'm proud of myself. (i know i'm contradicting, but read the second to fourth word of this entry again)

:) SHA LA LA.

Political science huh... but are you sure about SMU? I mean, it's a city campus and all, but as of now it isn't exactly that established.
And don't people to go SMU to study business instead of political science? Plus, I heard the school fees are, in a word, omglikereallyreallyfuckingexpensive.
