the Queen could hardly believe herself.... just 3 posts later and she's already tired of blogging :/
yesterday was Joel's POP! it was my first visit (last too, i suppose) to Tekong! it isn't as bad as i thought or as bad as how the boys had mentioned.. the way they talked about it, Tekong sounds more like a dingy prison... with rats running around and run down bulidings (think OCH) as bunks.
walao.... from Changi pier, Tekong looks more like a beach resort can? haha! it's quite nice actually! looks like... hostel that banglaras (dunno how to spell) stay! those construction workers, i mean. so no offence to bangras, like some very well-educated bangra personnel or high-flyer might stumble upon this and sue me.
the POP was indeed an eye opener. to Tekong and to army boys.... anyway, only like 1/1000 boys there are look-able. means can beo that kind... after all, most of them look alike in crew cut hairstyle, number 4s, or in their exericise kit. and most importantly, they wouldn't smell exactly good if they haven't bathed after basking 4 hours in the hot sun either. so my little trip to tekong has busted my idea of finding work at e-mart (some accessories shop for army boys) in hope of boy-hunting! TSK TSK. just kidding laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. it was dennis's idea anyway. i wouldn't exactly thought of such a novelty.
if i were one of the parents there, i'd definitely be very proud of my boy! so Joel, i'm very proud of you (thought i'm not your mama) to have survived the 4 months intensive (...) training! and most importantly, for surviving under the hot, hot, unreasonably hot sun! i can barely stand walking for more than 1 second in this weather.......
i was still telling Ching that they might do some silly cheer at the end of the ceremony... and she laughed it off and said impossible! after all, it's not MJ's (or anywhere else) orientation camp! but........... there was indeed a very stupid cheer towards the end. which made me laugh my ass off! so super funny laa! it made my goosebumps surfaced from the pores they were hiding deep inside.
wahhhh. i can't believe i've written this long about tekong! not bad at all!
ANYWAY, i've been so super bored that i'm thinking how to celebrate my birthday (in May... for goodness sake) (come to think of it, it's coming soon!) i'm thinking if i should have a chalet, bbq or just seperate celebration (just like last year that kind) with my different groups of friends.... any idea? or comment? tell me what you want!
the Queen wants to hear from youuuuuuu! (haha... like some bloggers who are always doing this kinda stuff...)
