I know it's tad overdue to wish ya'all that, but... it's still on-going for the next 12 days, no?
Every year, the lunar new year kick, any festive kick for that matter, seems to be drowning out. Does it feel this way when you get older? Is it me, or is it that we're all feeling the same? hmmm.
Well... at least i get to see my relatives, which seriously, is an annual affair thing. Not much catching up to be done, just the "oh, you're in SMU now?" thing... and it's always the children who'll light up the atmosphere like cute cheeky cousin, Marcus (Tong) who's almost as cheeky as Marcus (Tung). Heh heh... Ahhh... but my luck was pretty good at blackjack for the past two days! Won about 50$ or so :D (and Rach just told me she won 500$!! Hur hur)
Watched My Best Friend's Wedding last night, again. Knowing myself, if that ever happened to me, i'd just wallow in self-pity, ask myself over and over again why isn't it me, probably shed a few tears, and tell myself at least we're best friends (and we will never have to go thru divorce) and move on. I think.... that's what i'd do. I hope i'll never ever come close to that! BUT SERIOUSLY, what's there to choose between Kimmy (Cameron Diaz) & Julianne (Julia Roberts) in that show?!! I would be rooting for Julianne when i was younger, cos she's the protagonist, but now, reality gets the better of me. Kimmy would be my choice, hands down! If i were Julianne, i'd probably try to turn George straight... cos he's so bloody damn sweet......... that i'd give anything to have a best friend like that. Oh well, that's movies for ya.

p/s: I recorded us singing Hands Down in the car last nite! :P
