A Saturday of Mine

Attended Angeline and James' wedding solemnization this afternoon. I wonder if it's just me, but i never fail to shed a tear or two at such events... it's just too touching. it's the day when you're finally man and wife, where you declare your love for each other in front of witnesses, relatives and friends.

* Congratulations! Hope that both of you would have a blessed marriage! *

When would it be my turn? I dun even give a thought about such a day, cos i know it's still years and ages away! :/

************

On my way back on the train, i realised there's this group of people who really gets on my nerves. the very kiasu people. it's not just the kiasuism that ticks me but the inconsiderate behaviour that's involved in the midst of being kiasu.

Like, it was SO DAMN crowded in the afternoon train (cos basically Singaporeans have nowhere to go and MRT is a cheap and fast mode of transportation, duh) and this Auntie/Mother, in her thirties, with a baby stroller was standing smack in the middle of the crowd, holding on to the (metal thing... you call that a pole? rod? whatever). OK, i understand that u need to hold on to that to support that body mass of yours, BUT there really are idiots pushing me when it's so obvious there's no space COS PEOPLE ARE UNWILLING TO BUDGE! i wonder why there just are inconsiderate people who just won't move to the rear/the centre... wah, si beh irritating.

and then, the obnoxious Auntie/Mother, had the cheek (of cos she does!) to call out, "Boy ah, Boy ah, lai lai! Zhe li you wei!!" when two people had alighted and therefore giving her the seats. There're like people standing RIGHT IN FRONT (hello?!) of her and she called out to her son (and daughter) who were already seated at like, 1m away at the two-seater seats!

WORST OF ALL, her monkeys were making a whole lot of damn noise...... the one thing that i can't stand! (i know i know that it's an irony) They were crying, kicking, shouting.... that i just hope that she could do something about it cos it really was a disturbance to the commuters.

Auntie, can you please take a cab next time? Or, just stay at home.

(Maybe you can ask me to take a cab or to stay at home, but i KNOW i'm speaking up for the rest of the commuters. So i rest my case and i KNOW it's her fault. not mine. so there!)
