Had quite a humiliating evening earlier on. I had to teach at 8.30pm and being lazy to change when i'm back home, i wore some SMU tee and FTBs out. Oh, not to mention, my uber geeky trying-to-be-cool specs. Since it's already dark and no one will notice anyways, hahaa. And again, being lazy to carry many things, i bought just my ez-link card out.
ONLY to realise that it was a cashcard when i boarded the bus. And i still thought the machine was faulty....... and i told the driver i brought the wrong card with a sheepish smile. And i hurried down the bus. Uber embarrassing. But i doubt it's the most humiliating day of my life, yet.
Anyways, Sports Fiesta was fun! We joined Dodgeball and our team of 6 was more like... team of 4, with Eugene running away halfway for some meeting and Dennis was more like playing for some other 827402 games. Cedric became more like our member instead! And good also laa, had water-polo vice cap in our team, woooots!
We lost 2 games out of 3... winning only the first one cos i think it was the FIRST set of games and everyone was not that competitive as yet. Cos later on, the teams all damn garang and where all the ugly sportsmanship came out. BOOOO. Had fun dissing other teams and spotting all the "mini-ryans". And the Social Science family was tight all the way... supporting one another in the games. Nice :)
Met up with JZ, Ching & Ming for Chuck & Larry after that. Pretty funny flick (anything with Adam Sandler, baby) and my sporadic laughter was even detected by my cousin who was in the same cinema, cos she msged me after that! hahaa! Simpang after that & it was damn packed! I missed going there when it's NOT packed. And Edmund & gang was there as well, but we didn't notice each other. Funny how people were at the same place, same time w/o realising.
I feel quite helpless that i can't help my tw student with her unhappiness of lodging with her homestay parents. I understand her plight cos i think they're kinda too uptight and seriously nag way too much for most people alive. But yet there's nothing that i can do except to listen to her woes....
Finally confirmed BKK tix!!! A load off my shoulders!
Now just hafta get pass thru this mid terms.... i'll be right back x)
